I see the point, but I'd push back on it. A blanket ban feels like a lazy answer to a complicated problem. Yes, endless scrolling drains hours that could go into training, reading, or sleep — I'm guilty of it myself. But social media is also how I follow swimmers I admire and stay in touch with friends at competitions abroad. Banning it wouldn't fix the underlying issue, which is that we're not taught how to use it sensibly.
