School uniforms in Austria?
Talk for about a minute: should Austrian schools introduce uniforms? Take a clear side and back it up.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I'm against it. Uniforms supposedly level the playing field, but in reality kids just find new ways to signal status — trainers, watches, bag brands. What we really need is to teach pupils that it's fine to look different. Strip away the clothes argument and the actual issue is mockery and exclusion, and a uniform won't fix either of those. The energy would be better spent on PSHE lessons that actually work.
